From the "Golden Child" of Champagne...
Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in a single Grand Crú vineyard in Chouilly.
“Fût de Chêne” (“Oak Barrels”) is 100% Chardonnay fermented and aged in, yes, French oak barrels, coopered from oak grown on the top of the Montagne de Reims. A favorite for the fantastical pairings at the famed Alinea (awarded three stars by Michelin).
A Blanc de Blancs...and a sparkling Eiffel Tower ornament is always a good idea. Luxe gift wrap included.
From 35-year-old Chardonnay vines, this is an exceptional vintage ~ something a patient bon vivant would cellar. That said, I have yet to meet a terribly patient bon vivant.
Awarded the acclaimed "Special Club" title after a blind tasting by members of the exclusive Club Trésors. Gift boxed. Note: Vintage is 2012
