Ah, we have another woman at the helm of a great House. Serge Billiot, now approaching retirement, is gradually turning over the estate to his daughter Laetitia.
Their Brut Reserve reflects the wonder of Ambonnay, among the finest Grand Cru terroir in all of Champagne. Subtle with ripe fruit flavors of yellow apple and pear mixing with light smoke, ground spice and mineral notes. Clean, fresh and creamy. Exquisite.
Food Pairings: This Pinot-driven Champagne is perfect with caviar, cheeses, foie gras, lobster, sushi, Indian curries and yes, popcorn with truffle butter (or as Marilyn Monroe suggested, potato chips).
