The original Henriet family specialized in Champagne production whereas the Bazins were grape growers. They have been producing stellar wine from their prestigious vineyards are situated in the Grand Cru villages of Verzy and Verzenay, renowned for the excellence of their Pinot Noir. Prestigious houses such as Krug, Bollinger and Louis Roederer source the Pinots of these villages, which gives immense character and style to their blends. The Pinot Noirs are vinous with pepper, iron, mineral and gunpowder aromas sought after for many prestige cuvees. Henriet-Bazin use classic vinification in tank, no oak is utilized and malo-lactic fermentation are forbidden on all their cuvees.
